Rescue Smiley.
1 of 8: Head to Buckner's for this job.
2 of 8: Talk to Mrs. Buckner. She will ask you to rescue Smiley from the Toxic Caves just outside of town.
3 of 8: You will find a bunch of geckos in the caves there. I personally found them a bit tough to fight at a low level, so you might want to either try to find an NPC to come with you, or at the very least, not take this as one of your first jobs.
4 of 8: Head down the ladder, and find Smiley in a room on the east side of the lower level of the caves.
5 of 8: Walk him out toward the entrance after talking to him, and he'll make his way back to Klamath. And don't forget to reclaim your reward back in Klamath, as well.
6 of 8: Smiley will teach you gecko skinning. You can use this perk to take the skins off of geckos you've killed, and you can then sell or barter then for a bit of cash.
7 of 8: You can also choose several froms of payments from Mrs. Buckner.
8 of 8: Take some cash, or ask her to release Sulik. The latter choice gives you more for your money, but if you decided to pay off Sulik's debt earlier (which makes the caves easier), you obviously have to go for the cash instead.
