Rescue a slave.
1 of 5: A woman to the east of the Greeting Center in the Vault City courtyard will ask you to rescue her husband Joshua from the Servant Allocation Center inside the city.
2 of 5: Although you might be able to solve this quest with force, you'd probably get all of Vault City against you, and I wouldn't recommend doing so. At least not for the sake of this quest.
3 of 5: Just visit the Servant Allocation Center, and see what you can do there.
4 of 5: If you're lucky, you might be able to convince the guard there that Joshua is sick, and get him released.
5 of 5: If that doesn't work, you might have to buy his freedom.
