Fallout 2 Hints
Deliver some alcohol.
1 of 5: The bartender at the bar just past the gates into the inner city will ask you to smuggle in 10 bottles of beer and 10 bottles of booze. (Note that she means "booze" -- which is the name of a particular item -- and not generic alcohol.)
2 of 5: She also gives you a few suggestions for getting the drinks past the guards.
3 of 5: One is to become a citizen, so you won't be searched.
4 of 5: You can also give the drinks to any of your other party members, and they will be ignored. It doesn't seem like Vault City's guards are very vigilant, but you might as well take advantage of the fact.
