Fallout 2 Hints

Find a FOB.

  • 1 of 8: You will get this quest when you try to take the tanker to reach the Enclave.
  • 2 of 8: The Captain of the tanker won't talk to you until you've done a good deed for someone else on the ship.  And he'll probably have some good advice for you.
  • 3 of 8: Like freeing Badger's girlfriend.
  • 4 of 8: He says the Navarro base might have the FOB.
  • 5 of 8: You will find the FOB in the Commander's office underground at the base.
  • 6 of 8: Depending on whether you decided to fight your way through the base or impersonate a recruit, you can either get the FOB directly from the Commander or take it out of a locked locker in his office yourself.
  • 7 of 8: With sufficient speech skills, you can probably talk the Commander (or someone else on the base) into letting you have the FOB.
  • 8 of 8: Or, if you've gone in fighting, nice dynamite charge or crowbar can disable the lock on the locker if you can't manage to pick it yourself.
