Fallout 2 Hints
Why doesn't my disguise work on the way to the reactor level?
1 of 6: There are actually several different kinds of armor used at the Enclave.
2 of 6: You should look for a variant of Advanced Power Armor.
3 of 6: Try the rooms off to the sides of the Access Corridor.
4 of 6: You should find a Mark II Advanced Power Armor to the west of the corrridors. You can use that to impersonate a Secret Service agent, and not just a random Enclave guard.
5 of 6: It appears that wearing the plain form of the Advanced Power Armor may trigger the robots guarding the stairs down to the reactor level to attack you. Either that, or bringing along a second party member wearing the armor will.
6 of 6: So I recommend heading down to the reactor level on your own, and in the Mark II armor, if you want to go down there without creating a fight.
