Fallout 2 Hints
Is there any way to kill someone without alerting everyone in the area?
of 12: Yes, there is.
of 12: It's possible that if you're good enough at sneaking, you can go unnoticed in delivering damage.
of 12: Try leaving something that will cause delayed damage.
of 12: You might be able to plant an explosive that will hurt the person without their realizing who left it, but this may not work -- especially if you're not very good at sneaking around.
of 12: There is another stealthy way, though, that doesn't require any special skills.
of 12: Just some special inventory.
of 12: Some items have undesired side effects.
of 12: Like a super stimpack.
of 12: It will do 9 points of damage (3 at first, followed by 6 later) after you use it.
of 12: On anyone.
of 12: You can use the appropriate number of super stimpacks on a character (the "Awareness" perk really helps here to know how many hit points a character has) to kill them. Just use them all at once, and then wait around for the character to die from the overdose. But realize that if you don't inject the person with enough stimpacks the first time and go back to use more, the stimpacks will also heal that person of any damage you've already done.
of 12: You might also find other chemicals that will do damage as a side effect.
