What are these little diddly-things that attack me at the pond?
1 of 5: They're spider drones -- basically, proximity mines with legs.
2 of 5: They're very hard to hit from a distance, so I hope you have a missile launcher with you.
3 of 5: If you do, you can use V.A.T.S. to target the drones. The splash damage from the missiles will almost certainly destroy them.
4 of 5: On the other hand, you may want to save most of your missiles for the chimera tanks at the depot.
5 of 5: If so, use your SMG or gauss rifle to blow spider drones up. If you have a sentry bot with you, it'll be a great help.
