Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints

Investigate the area around Megaton to learn about the water situation.

  • 1 of 5: Travel to Megaton and start looking around.
  • 2 of 5: There are "holy water pamphlets" stuck to several doors that will tell you what you need to know.
  • 3 of 5: You can also get a pamphlet by talking to a generic "Megaton settler."
  • 4 of 5: One other way to get a pamphlet is to exit Megaton and witness a woman named Rosa giving holy water to the nearby water beggar. When it kills him, she'll talk to you and give you the pamphlet. (Also, you can loot the beggar's body to get the so-called holy water, which you'll see is aqua pura with a bunch of rads added in.)
  • 5 of 5: NOTE: If you want Micky (the regular water beggar) to stay around, you'll have to avoid the outside of Megaton until after the quest is over.
