Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints

Old Olney Underground

  • 1 of 9: When you first enter, you'll meet a couple of non-feral ghouls.
  • 2 of 9: After you talk to them and they run off, move into the large room they came through and check it carefully for lots of misc. supplies.
  • 3 of 9: Keep an eye out for more items, including on named ghoul corpses, as you make your way along. There's a note on a ghoul named Dunbar that explains what they were doing here.
  • 4 of 9: When you reach a sewer tunnel, be ready for a deathclaw to attack from the slanty ground that leads up to a large wrecked medical facility. After killing it, go up the slanty ground, then turn around and check the area behind you for ammo and toy cars.
  • 5 of 9: Check all around the starting floor for supplies, then drop down to the next floor and do the same. When you're ready to move on, go to the western-most upper floor room (watch out for the deathclaw), and drop down to the next floor. From there, you can go down some stairs (or through a hole) to reach the bottom floor.
  • 6 of 9: Look for supplies, including in a bathtub, then approach the large sandbag wall cautiously. There are a couple of frag mines set in the rubble just west of it, and you'll want to carefully disarm them before entering the large wall hole and seeing if you can shoot any deathclaws in the area ahead.
  • 7 of 9: Look through the large room past the wall hole for many supplies (and a workbench), then unlock the cell door that's near the center of the room if you can. Past it is a room with more supplies, including a Nuka-Cola Quantum on the floor next to radio equipment.
  • 8 of 9: Check the small west room for more supplies, and watch for another deathclaw or two to appear as you go into the area's northern section. It has lots more supplies to raid (including a sniper rifle behind some pipes next to the west wall), so take your time to find them all before moving on.
  • 9 of 9: Watch for more deathclaws and supplies as you make your way to the door that leads to the Old Olney S. Wilson Building.
