How can I get past a repulsion field?
1 of 4: The only way to do so is to use a repulsion field control panel, so there'd better be one on your side of the field.
2 of 4: If there is, go up to it and activate it to get your three options.
3 of 4: If your Science skill is high enough (80+), you can turn the repulsion field off. This is by far the best option, since all of the other options involve taking damage.
4 of 4: If you set a timed charge or smash the panel, the exploding panel will damage you if you don't run away fast enough. Also, the field will remain partially intact, damaging you (and your follower) every time you go through it.
