Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints

Chinese Stealth Armor

  • 1 of 8: This unique armor has the following properties: damage resistance +28, Sneak +15, stealth field when crouching.
  • 2 of 8: You can get it from a shelf in the armory, which you can only open after finishing the simulation.
  • 3 of 8: This suit isn't as powerful a cloaking device as a stealth boy, but it is constant-effect, and has a good damage resistance, too.
  • 4 of 8: It can be an *immense* help when stealing items in areas where you don't want the friendly natives turning hostile. As long as you're wearing the stealth armor, and are crouched and unmoving, you should be able to snatch anything without being caught.
  • 5 of 8: You can also use the stealth armor to sneakily retrieve things from dangerous areas, such as the unique gatling laser named Vengeance that's in the Deathclaw Sanctuary. It's easy, as long as you're careful not to get too close to a deathclaw.
  • 6 of 8: See the Customized Stealth-Based Character tips for more ways to take advantage of the stealth armor.
  • 7 of 8: NOTE: You can repair the stealth armor with recon armor.
  • 8 of 8: NOTE: There's an odd glitch with the stealth armor that allows you to equip multiple headgear items while wearing the armor. You can only have one of each type of headgear equipped, but if you have two of the same type, you can equip one of them and then click on the other one over and over to get its bonus added on each time. To remove a headgear glitch bonus, just unequip the one that you have equipped.
