1 of 5: The enemies in the base area and the areas leading up to the base don't seem to respawn much, so don't count on getting a lot of extra combat XP or loot from that. (Except from the now-hostile Brotherhood of Steel guys at the base.)
2 of 5: Once you reach the base, search around to find four new resupply crates that each contain two Tesla cannons (one in perfect condition) and some ammo.
3 of 5: Unfortunately, all of the dead bodies in the entire base area will be gone, and only dropped weapons that you didn't pick up will remain. (As will anything you dropped or put into a container.)
4 of 5: You'd think that since you didn't bomb the mobile platform, you'd be able to get back into it -- but you'd be wrong.
5 of 5: When you want to leave, you'll have to go back the way you came -- no more vertibird shortcuts.
