Annotated Map Key
1 = Point Lookout Pier. This is where you arrive in the Duchess Gambit, and where you can depart for a return trip to the Capital Wasteland. Tobar will continue to offer merchant services. <Grifter's Fit>
2 = Pilgrim's Landing. You'll come here on the "Thought Control" quest, plus the "The Velvet Curtain" misc. quest.
3 = House of Wares. Panada is a merchant and an item repairer (up to 43% condition). Check for items among the ball-rolling machines, in a little niche area just east of the bumper car area, and in nearby buildings. <2 mini nukes>
4 = The Homestead Motel. You can get the "The Velvet Curtain" misc. quest here.
5 = Point Lookout Lighthouse. You'll come here on the "A Meeting of the Minds" quest.
6 = Calvert Mansion. You'll come here on the "The Local Flavor" quest, plus the "The Velvet Curtain" misc. quest.
7 = Beachview Campsite.
8 = Ritual Site. You'll come here for the "The Dark Heart of Blackhall" misc. quest. <Ritual Knife>
9 = Haley's Hardware. Haley is a merchant and an item repairer (up to 50% condition), and has a workbench in the store. The workman's coveralls that he sells boost the Repair skill by 10. <Handyman Jumpsuit>
10 = Disaster Relief Outpost. You'll come here on the "The Dark Heart of Blackhall" misc. quest.
11 = Dove Delta. If you have a shovel in inventory, you can dig up the dirt piles on these small islands. The only one that has anything is next to a tree a bit west of the fast-travel spot. (On the small island north of that is a shovel and message next to a skeleton.)
12 = Ofie Clan Pot.
13 = Blackhall Manor. You can get the "The Dark Heart of Blackhall" misc. quest here.
14 = Grower's Shack. There are 23 wild punga plants in the garden. <mini nuke>
15 = Sacred Bog Entrance. You'll come here on the "Walking With Spirits" quest.
16 = Lil' Tyke Playhouse.
17 = Flooded Sinkhole. There are some containers (and considerable radiation) at the bottom of this deep pond. <2 Nuka-Cola Quantums>
18 = Trapper's Shack.
19 = Jet Crash Site. Look a bit to the east for the ejected pilot and his parachute (plus a few more items).
20 = Trash Heap. There's considerable radiation here. <mini nuke>
21 = Marguerite's Shack. You can get the "A Spoonful of Whiskey" misc. quest here.
22 = Turtledove Detention Camp. You'll come here on the "The Velvet Curtain" misc. quest. <mini nuke>
23 = Truck Wreckage.
24 = The Ark & Dove Cathedral. You'll come here on the "Walking With Spirits" quest.
25 = Ark & Dove Resting Grounds.
26 = Wrecked Seatub. You'll come here on the "Hearing Voices" quest.
27 = Coastal Grotto. You can do the "Plik's Safari" misc. quest here, plus get the Ghoul Ecology perk. <mini nuke>
28 = Herzog Mine.
29 = USS Ozymandias. You can get the "An Antique Land" misc. quest here.
a = Ladder to Miner's Rest. This area connects to the Herzog Mine.
b = Submarine SSN-37-1A. The sub is underwater, a very short distance north of a rusty old boat. You'll visit it on the misc. quest "The Velvet Curtain."
c = Smuggler's shack. The lone smuggler here has a sniper rifle.
d = Ruzka's den. Whether you find the special yao-guai named Ruzka here or not, you will find several items, including a giant red ball.
e = Ruined house.
f = Blackhall jetty. Look NE of the jetty to find more items near a tall monument.
g = Sewer entrance to Septic Tunnel Access area. The sewer tunnel leads into location 22's morgue.
h = Smugglers' camp. Check the roadblock the smugglers have set up SE of the camp for a few more items.
i = Picnic table area. Check the mailboxes of the nearby ruined houses for more stuff.
j = Covered bridge.
k = Fisherman's jetty.
l = Dead adventurer's stash. To find the stash, go straight NE from the seatub until you find the base of a winding path, then follow it all the way up.
m = Rusting boat. There's a floor safe in the boat's cabin, under some shallow water.
n = Sunken boat. This boat also has a floor safe, but is hard to find. Look for birds circling overhead, or count four grid squares over and one up from the bottom left corner of the game's world map.
o = Calvert jetty.
p = Dead mother's bench.
