Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
(Optional) Get a weapon from Marco.
1 of 11: Search Midea's room to find several items (including four dirty waters on shelves), and optionally pickpocket her for a few more.
2 of 11: Exit back to the Downtown area, then follow Jackson into the alley and pickpocket his items there.
3 of 11: Return to the "pit square" area, then see if you can pickpocket the slave master's gun. (You should be able to if you pickpocketed his ammo earlier, but there's no guarantee.)
4 of 11: Even if you got the slave master's gun, you should still get whatever weapon Marco can give you, so return to the short street area that's NW of the pit. Find the door to the mill on the west side of the street, then enter it.
5 of 11: Look around the starting room for misc. items, then go down to the main floor to find several slaves at work. (You can try to pickpocket auto axes from them, but it's probably not worth the trouble.)
6 of 11: Head west along the mill floor until you pass some large shelves with engine blocks and such on them, then look left to find a small raised platform with a guy named Brand on it.
7 of 11: From Brand's little platform, go west and then turn north past the fence-covered radioactive hole in the floor.
8 of 11: Pass by the steps on the left, which lead to Everett and the whole Steelyard thing, and go north as far as you can.
9 of 11: Turn east, then go up the steps you see ahead on the right.
10 of 11: Go through the doorway past the steps to find the room where Marco hangs out. Talk to him and ask for a weapon to get an auto axe. (It'll be in pretty bad shape, so you might want to try to pickpocket some auto axes or steel axes from slaves to repair it with.)
11 of 11: TIP: If you passed the Speech Challenge with Brand earlier, you can now tell him that Marco is making weapons in order to get another reward of XP, stimpaks, and negative karma.
