Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints

Return to Midea.

  • 1 of 8: Run south along the train cars, then drop to the ground and head west until you reach the door that leads back to the Abandoned Area.
  • 2 of 8: NOTE: You may or may not meet any trogs on the way. If you do, grind them up with your auto axe!
  • 3 of 8: Go back through that area to the door that returns you to the mill, watching out for trogs there, too.
  • 4 of 8: Reenter the mill and go up to Everett to get your 10 steel ingots traded in for a laborer outfit, which is a bit better than slave outfits (and can be repaired with them).
  • 5 of 8: You can now go all the way back to Midea in her quarters to report success, but you shouldn't do that until you've found the rest of the steel ingots and given them to Everett for rewards. (Or you might prefer to wait until after the arena fights to do that, since you'll get all of your confiscated gear back.)
  • 6 of 8: See below for hints on finding all of the remaining ingots in the three areas where they can be found. Note that you'll have to return to Everett to offload ingots (and stash other heavy items in his desk) to keep from being overloaded all the time.
  • 7 of 8: When you're done with that (or get sick of it for now), talk to Midea in her quarters to finish this objective.
  • 8 of 8: TIP: If you found Wild Bill's body, find Milly and talk to her about him to get a reward of six stimpaks. (Note that you can also try to pass a Speech Challenge to get extra XP.)
