How can I fight these invisible, freaky-fast guys in the bigger storage room?
1 of 7: The key to it is V.A.T.S.
2 of 7: Move through the large doorway into the bigger warhead storage area far enough to spot one of the so-called Crimson Dragoon guys, then back up and wait.
3 of 7: He'll probably take cover somewhere, and you'll be able to tell where by aiming in his general direction and hitting the V.A.T.S. key.
4 of 7: You can't shoot at him in V.A.T.S. if he's cloaked, but you can see where he is. As with most cloaking devices, these aren't perfect, and give off a noticeable shimmer effect.
5 of 7: Once you spot one, exit V.A.T.S. and blast him manually with the sniper rifle or gauss rifle.
6 of 7: After that one's dead, move slowly forward, looking around and hitting the V.A.T.S. key to see if you (or it) can spot any more dragoon guys nearby.
7 of 7: You can continue this stealthy approach, or you can charge in and be ready to V.A.T.S.-blast dragoons as they run up to you and decloak. (Or have your knife out and either dodge or block dragoon blows while Sergeant Montgomery shoots them for you.)
