Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Use the Cryptochromatic Spectacles and Sequence Note to access the Spy Bunker.
1 of 7: Go to the Calvert Mansion (location 6 on the World Map) and follow the quest arrow into the old greenhouse.
2 of 7: Notice that in the middle of the greenhouse are four interactive pedestals with vases on them.
3 of 7: Try looking at the vases after equipping the cryptochromatic spectacles.
4 of 7: Notice that each vase now has a different number of stripes on it, from one to four.
5 of 7: Now it's time to use the sequence note to figure out what order to activate the pedestals in.
6 of 7: Checking your Pip-Boy's notes, you'll see that the sequence is 1, 3, 2, 3, 4, 4, 2.
7 of 7: So activate the pedestal with the one-stripe vase first, then activate the one with the three-stripe vase, and so on until you've completed the sequence.
