Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Ammo Press Notes
1 of 5: When you enter the mill, some of the slaves or raiders (depending on who you sided with) may still be hostile to you, and you'll want to finish them off before doing anything else.
2 of 5: The ammo press is on the little raised platform that Brand was on before. It's a ways west of the exit to the Downtown area, and just south of the arena and fence-covered pit area.
3 of 5: Put scrap metal and/or ammo of a type you don't want any more into the materials bin that's at the base of the large press that's nearest the platform.
4 of 5: Use the platform's terminal to choose which type of ammo you want the contents of the materials bin to be converted into, then go get your new ammo from the bin.
5 of 5: This can be very handy for changing ammo types you don't use into ones you do use. For instance, I almost never use .32 caliber ammo, so I change all I have of it into shotgun shells, .44 magnum ammo, or something else that I use frequently. (Note that scrap metal is best saved for Walter in Megaton.)
