Talk to the Professor.
1 of 5: After you kill Desmond, get the lab access card from his body, then raid his side room for supplies.
2 of 5: Move on to another room with supplies (including some mesmetron power cell packs) and two turrets.
3 of 5: Use the switch to the right of the door to open it with the lab access card.
4 of 5: Move on down the hallways, checking side rooms for loot, until you reach the large circular room that the brain resides in. (Note that at one point, you'll need to use a terminal to open a door.)
5 of 5: Go along one of the walkways that lead up to the brain's tank so you can talk to it.
