Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Activate the Engine Core Teleporter.
1 of 5: Move forward and use the switch to pressurize the area.
2 of 5: When the north door opens, put on your regular armor and equip a weapon before going through it -- you're through with the spacesuit (and can drop it to lighten your load).
3 of 5: Check the two containers in the room, then see about activating the teleporter.
4 of 5: To do that, use the interactive control that's next to the teleporter platform.
5 of 5: NOTE: Until you reach the end of the Biological Research area later, this teleporter is your only way back to the Engineering Core. Return to it and use it whenever you need to store stuff or rest.
