Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
How do I choose my strike team?
of 8: Access Patterson's terminal in the command tent.
of 8: You'll find that you have three units you can fill, but check out the unit descriptions first.
of 8: You've got six different kinds of people/robots to choose from, but they're not all equally "expensive."
of 8: You've been given five recruitment markers, so the combined "costs" of all the recruits you choose cannot exceed 5.
of 8: You can choose your recruits based on how they complement your skills, or based on what you'll be facing on the mission.
of 8: When you're sure about your choices, click on "Requisition Full - Commit Team," then on "Deploy Team."
of 8: Leave the command tent and look for your strike team and Sergeant Montgomery nearby.
of 8: TIP: While working on an objective, keep a close eye on your recruits to make sure they keep up. However, don't worry about them getting killed. When one does, you may be able to have Sergeant Montgomery radio the base for a replacement (same kind or different). You can also order Montgomery to take the team on ahead and assault an area, or retreat to an already-secured area, but neither is recommended.
