Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
How do I get started on this add-on?
1 of 7: First, make sure the add-on is active.
2 of 7: On the game's launcher menu, select "Data Files" and make sure there's a checkmark in the box to the left of BrokenSteel.esm.
3 of 7: Click "OK," then run the game and load a save.
4 of 7: Wait for a pop-up window to inform you that Broken Steel has been loaded, and the level cap has been raised to 30.
5 of 7: As for the quests, you'll have to finish the main quest series before you can start on them.
6 of 7: No matter who you send into the radioactive chamber, you'll survive and awaken in the Citadel after the usual end-of-main-quests summary. (Note that Sentinel Lyons will die if you send her in, so it's best to either go in yourself or send in a radiation-proof follower, such as Fawkes or Charon.)
7 of 7: As you talk to Elder Lyons, you'll get the "Death From Above" quest.
