Fallout 3 Hints
Tenleytown/Friendship Station
1 of 11: This metro area has an exterior entrance at Friendship Heights (location 11 on the Zone 6 Map), plus exits to Chevy Chase North (Chevy Chase region) and the Farragut West Station metro area. This guided tour assumes you're entering from the exterior area.
2 of 11: Go down the starting ramp and forward to a row of turnstiles. Before you go through them, you'll want to check out all the optional stuff nearby.
3 of 11: Move down the hallway until you reach the top of a ramp. Look to the left for a garbage can and to the right for a fire hose box, then go down the ramp to reach the upper floor of the mezzanine area.
4 of 11: Go down an escalator to the lower floor, then head down the left-hand north tunnel until you come to a connecting tunnel on the right.
5 of 11: Look around the fenced-in area in the connecting tunnel to find a sledgehammer, three unset frag mines, a laser rifle, mentats, a steam gauge assembly, and a dead mercenary.
6 of 11: After looting all of that, go back to the mezzanine and down either of the two south tunnels to find a connecting tunnel with a similar situation. Besides a dead mercenary and a footlocker, you'll find shelves with a first aid box, lots of weapon-creating components, two bundles of railway spikes, mentats, and a Speech skill book called "Lying, Congressional Style."
7 of 11: Head south down the tunnel that isn't blocked until you come to another connecting tunnel. This one has a Nuka-Cola vending machine and an Eat'o'tronic 3000, plus two metal boxes with a conductor and two steam gauge assemblies on top of them.
8 of 11: There's another metal box on the track near the door to the Farragut West Station metro area, which is just NW of the connecting tunnel.
9 of 11: Go along the track tunnel that's south of the connecting tunnel to reach a second mezzanine area.
10 of 11: On the mezzanine's upper floor, go down the east-side ramp to reach a large hallway.
11 of 11: As you go down the hallway to the exit to Chevy Chase North, look for a metal box and two ghoul corpses on the floor, plus a Nuka-Cola vending machine and a garbage can to raid.
