Fallout 3 Hints
Vernon East/Takoma Park
1 of 8: This metro area connects a spot just NE of Vernon Square East (Vernon Square region) to Takoma Park (Takoma Park region). This guided tour assumes you're entering from Vernon Square East.
2 of 8: Go past the turnstiles and ticket booth to find two super mutants to kill, then enter the ticket booth and look around for three metal boxes on the floor, and a Speech skill book named "Lying, Congressional Style" on the shelf.
3 of 8: Search the lockers and garbage can around the corner, then head down the ramp to the mezzanine, ready to kill a couple more super mutants.
5 of 8: Now start down the mezzanine's unblocked east tunnel, ready to start fighting mirelurks. (Also, stay off the tracks, since parts of them are covered in radioactive water.)
6 of 8: Keep moving down the tunnel until you eventually come to a connecting tunnel with two gun cabinets and some lockers in it.
7 of 8: Past that, you'll reach an extremely messed-up mezzanine area. Jump over some tracks and fencing to get to where you can go up a ramp with "TAKOMA STATION" signs on either side of it.
8 of 8: After you round the bend in the hallway, look around for supplies before moving on to the exit that leads to Takoma Park.
