Extra Loot Tip
1 of 4: Before you report back to Three Dog, go find out where your father went by other means.
2 of 4: The easiest way to do that is to go do the first two objectives of the "Scientific Pursuits" quest now.
3 of 4: After that's done, return to Three Dog and talk to him to get the key to a weapons cache in Hamilton's Hideaway (location 5 on the Zone 5 Map).
4 of 4: The cell door that the key fits is at the NW tip of the hideaway interior. Past it is lots of good stuff, including a mini nuke and a Small Guns skill book.
