Fallout 3 Hints
Upper North Area
1 of 8: On the highest mezzanine main floor, go up one of the escalators that leads to a higher small floor with two garbage cans and lots of tin cans.
2 of 8: Go north down the large hallway and through some turnstiles, then turn left to find a door that you can open.
3 of 8: It leads to a room with a couple of desks and filing cabinets to search, plus a metro protectron that you can release by hacking the terminal near it and running the ticket check routine. Either kill it for XP, or wait and let it kill ghouls for you.
4 of 8: A bit NE of the door to that room is a door that's labeled "RESTROOM." Go through it to reach a large area that has two small bathrooms on its other side.
5 of 8: In the "GENTLEMEN" bathroom, you'll find a ghoul, a garbage can, some sinks you can drink from, and a skeleton on the floor with a Chinese assault rifle, two clips of 5.56mm ammo, and two stimpaks next to it.
6 of 8: The "LADIES" bathroom just has a garbage can and some sinks to drink from.
7 of 8: Return to the main hallway and turn left, looking for a Nuka-Cola vending machine to loot near the ticket booth.
8 of 8: Past the empty ticket booth is an exit to the Metro Central area in the Pennsylvania Avenue region.
