Fallout 3 Hints
Lincoln Artifact-Finding Tour
of 15: Go in through the museum's front doors, then go around the circular desks to find a doorway to a large prehistoric display room.
of 15: Near the SW corner of that room are some doors that lead to the Museum of History Lower Halls area.
of 15: While watching for ghouls, head up either set of stairs and go through either set of doors to reach a large exhibit room.
of 15: Get Lincoln's diary from the display slab that's in the NW corner of the exhibit room, then go to the room's SE corner to find a door to the Offices area.
of 15: Go down the hall and up some stairs until you reach another hallway, then turn left and go over to the locked door.
of 15: You probably can't pick it open, so go through the doorway a bit farther down the hall, and then through a large wall hole to get to the room on the other side of the locked door.
of 15: On a desk near the wall hole is the Action Abe Action Figure artifact, so take it and return to the hallway.
of 15: Go down the hall until you reach a locked cell door. Pick it open and go through it and a doorway to find a large room with several ghouls and a ceiling turret in it.
of 15: After finishing all of that off, search the bookshelves for two Lincoln artifact posters.
of 15: One of them is on an upper shelf next to a pillar near the SE corner of the room, and the other is on a shelf near the room's SW corner.
of 15: Go up the stairs and look for a big Lincoln Memorial poster on the wall next to a desk near the top of the stairs.
of 15: Look on the other desk nearby to find a phonograph with a recording of Lincoln's voice.
of 15: Go through the big wall hole between those two desks to enter the large central room, then look near its NW corner to find Lincoln's repeater rifle in a display case. (Activate the case to open it, then take the rifle.)
of 15: Leave the central room and go to the hall just east of it. Look on the bookshelves near the doorway of the southern room off that hall to find a box with an antique Lincoln coin collection in it.
of 15: Find the room north of the central room that has most of its floor missing. Drop down to the lower floor and look for Lincoln's hat sitting on some rubble near a desk.
