Fallout 3 Hints
Early Preparation Tip
of 8: Before you enter the hospital, you might want to start preparing for a tough combat that'll happen as you're escorting the rangers to safety later on.
of 8: Enter the nearby Statesman Hotel and kill all of the super mutants in the lobby area.
of 8: That's not enough by itself, though, since several new super mutants will appear in the lobby when you and the rangers enter it later on.
of 8: It would help hugely if you had several frag mines and/or bottlecap mines that you could set now in strategic locations.
of 8: There are three particular spots where it would really help to set three or more mines.
of 8: One spot is on the lower floor between the curvy desk and the bottom of the stairs. You might also want to lay a couple of extra mines over near the big doorway that leads to the exit.
of 8: The other two good spots to mine are on the upper floor walkways.
of 8: Place several mines on the floor between the fire hose box and the top of the eastern set of stairs, and several more on the floor at the little T-intersection that's next to the top of the western set of stairs.
