Fallout 3 Hints
Test the repellent on three Mole Rats.
1 of 5: Leave Megaton and get your new repellent stick ready to swing, then run all the way around Megaton's outer wall.
2 of 5: If that doesn't get you all the mole rats you need, go west to the wrecked overpass ruins and look around there.
3 of 5: NOTE: You only have to hit each mole rat with the stick once. If it doesn't instantly die, just dodge and/or block its attacks until its head explodes.
4 of 5: A better way to find mole rats would be to go to the Farragut West Metro Station (location 2 on the Zone 9 Map) and enter the underground metro area called Farragut West Station.
5 of 5: You won't have to explore far in there to find three mole rats, which is enough for this objective.
