What can I do about this?

  • 1 of 7: You could just ignore it and go into the classroom, which is through the open door just to the right of the harassment site. However, that would be passing up your first opportunity to gain or lose karma.
  • 2 of 7: To lose some karma, talk to Butch. Say it looks like he's having fun, then tell him that Amata's very sensitive about her weight.
  • 3 of 7: To gain karma, there are several things you could do.
  • 4 of 7: You could try talking to Butch and choosing the Speech Challenge option about the Overseer coming down on his gang, but you may not succeed. (Notice the percentage given next to the word "Speech.")
  • 5 of 7: If you really want to succeed in this Speech Challenge, quicksave before talking to Butch so you can quickrestore and try again if you fail the challenge.
  • 6 of 7: Or you could talk to Butch and provoke him into a fist fight. If you do this, concentrate on punching Butch until either you or he loses half your health, at which time the fight will stop. (You might then want to use the stimpak you got from the clinic to heal up. There's no point in saving it for later.)
  • 7 of 7: The easiest way to get karma points is to talk to Wally Mack and use insinuating dialogue options about how he's just a follower, and will do anything Butch says. He and Paul will decide to leave, and Butch will give up and follow them.
