How can I get this quest?

  • 1 of 6: Go to the rusty old aircraft carrier that's now called Rivet City (location 64 on the Zone 9 Map).
  • 2 of 6: After you cross the bridge and talk to Harkness, you need to get to the Capitol Preservation Society.
  • 3 of 6: After you enter the society's large museum room, turn right and go down the stairs.
  • 4 of 6: Just past the bottom of the stairs is a terminal you can optionally use to learn more about various historical things.
  • 5 of 6: If Abraham Washington isn't in the main room, go through the door that leads to his room.
  • 6 of 6: Talk nice to him until he quests you to find the missing Declaration of Independence.
