Fallout 3 Hints
Recover the Soil Stradivarius from Vault 92.
1 of 9: Once you find out where Vault 92 is, leave the Vault-Tec Headquarters building (if you're in it), fast-travel as close to Vault 92 as you can get, and go the rest of the way on foot. (Note that you might want to put this off if your Lockpick skill isn't 50 yet.)
2 of 9: After you go through Vault 92's exterior door, move down the short tunnel and go through the main vault door, which is already open.
3 of 9: Grab the useful items from the table, then go up the steps and open the metal door.
4 of 9: There's a frag mine on the floor just past the door, so sneakily disarm it after shooting down any bloatflies that come after you.
5 of 9: Pick open the door with the "CLASSROOM" and "LAB" signs above it, then quickly disarm the frag mine that's just past it. (Note that if you can't pick this door open, you'll have to get to the area past it by taking a detour through the mirelurk-infested Reactor Room.)
6 of 9: Go past two more doors and down some stairs to reach the door that leads to the Sound Testing area. Be ready to combat several mirelurks when you enter.
7 of 9: Turn right after entering, then turn right again. Go down the stairs marked "LAB" and turn left at the first path intersection, then turn right at the next one.
8 of 9: You'll come to the locked door to the studio where the violin you want is stored.
