Is there any way to get both items?
1 of 5: Not from Reilly -- she'll only let you have one of them.
2 of 5: However, if you had let one or more of the three trapped rangers die on the way out of the hotel, you could've looted their bodies for ranger battle armor (and maybe even a ranger battle helmet).
3 of 5: In fact, if Brick gets killed, you can get both the ranger battle armor and the Eugene minigun from her body. You might want to focus on taking her down while the other rangers are busy with the super mutants. (Not having given her any ammo would also help.)
4 of 5: You could wait and kill Brick after the quest is over, but that would turn all the rest of the rangers permanently hostile. You probably won't want to do that due to losing out on the geomapper opportunity (see the Post-Quest Notes).
5 of 5: Instead of killing Brick, you could try to pickpocket Eugene from her.
