Fallout 3 Hints
(Optional) Deal with Silver in Springvale.
1 of 6: You only get this objective if you talk to Moriarty about your father, fail the Speech Challenge, and then agree to do him a favor.
2 of 6: Leave Megaton and head north to Springvale. (You could fast-travel to Vault 101 and then go east for a slightly faster trip.)
3 of 6: Follow the quest arrow north from the center of Springvale to find the small ranch house where Silver is currently residing.
4 of 6: You could just kill her and loot her body (and the house), but a better way is to talk to her for some other options.
5 of 6: If you can pass a Speech Challenge, she'll give you 400 caps.
6 of 6: Otherwise, you can tell her to keep her caps and get out of town to gain karma (but you'll have to scrape up the money to pay Moriarty), or you can let her go in exchange for some of her caps (in which case she'll give you the 300 caps that Moriarty wants).
