Fallout 3 Hints

Ask Three Dog about Dad.

  • 1 of 9: You could cross the plaza to the GNR building, but you'll find that the doors are closed and locked until the perimeter is secured.
  • 2 of 9: It's best to just wait near the doorway you exited the school through until you get the "Retrieve the Fat Man from the dead Brotherhood soldier" objective.
  • 3 of 9: After you finish that and the "Help defeat the Super Mutant Behemoth" objective, loot the dead behemoth (and any other dead bodies around) to get lots of good stuff.
  • 4 of 9: Go over to the GNR building doors and use the intercom to the right of them.
  • 5 of 9: That'll get the doors unlocked, so use them to enter the building.
  • 6 of 9: To get to the GNR Studios door, move through the starting room, go up either set of stairs, then go down the short eastern corridor that's between the stair sets.
  • 7 of 9: In the studio, go up the stairs on the right to meet Three Dog.
  • 8 of 9: After he introduces himself and explains what the "Good Fight" is, ask him for info about your father.
  • 9 of 9: NOTE: If you can pass a tough Speech Challenge, you can get Three Dog to skip the "Galaxy News Radio" quest and send you straight to the "Scientific Pursuits" one.
