Security Guard Combat Tips
of 5: One way to deal with these guards is to run up to the left side of the doorway that leads to their post, then crouch down and get out the BB gun or 10mm pistol.
of 5: Slowly strafe right to where you can shoot a guard, then quickly strafe left for cover. They won't ever come through the doorway after you, but they will maneuver around to get shots at you.
of 5: A better way might be to stand up and strafe into view, use the V.A.T.S. combat system to target a guard's head, then strafe back out of view after your attacks are complete. Wait until your action points are fully restored, then repeat the process.
of 5: If your Melee Weapons skill is high, you might find it better to charge the guards and use V.A.T.S. to bash them in the head. This can also be a good finishing move to use after wounding them with a gun.
of 5: After they're both dead, loot them to get more security armor and batons, plus more 10mm pistols and ammo. You can also loot the two people they shot down to get ordinary jumpsuits. (Don't forget to use the Repair skill to combine like items into a better-condition item.)
