Main Quests
Fallout 3 is a very large, nonlinear game in much the same way that Morrowind and Oblivion are. There is a main plotline, which is defined by the series of quests listed below. You start off small (as a newborn baby!) and end up completing a big long-term project to improve life in the wasteland. There's no time limit on getting or doing any of the quests, so once you exit Vault 101, feel free to explore each region you come to, do misc. quests, etc. You pretty much have to in order to build up your character to where he can finish the main quests, anyway.
