Fallout 3 Hints
The Right Way
1 of 8: Go down the stairs next to the starting balcony and through the door on the right.
2 of 8: In the planetarium area, turn left to find a locked door at the west end of the room.
3 of 8: If you can't pick the lock, go over and open the door at the east end of the room.
4 of 8: WARNING: Watch out for two super mutants coming in the way you did and attacking you at some point.
5 of 8: In the room past the east door is a wall terminal that's easy to hack.
6 of 8: After doing so, click on "Unlock Planetarium Exit" to get the west door unlocked.
7 of 8: After you go through that door, turn left.
8 of 8: Go down the hallway and open the door at the other end to find the lunar lander room. (Watch out for a super mutant on its upper walkway, plus another one on your floor over to the right.)
