Fallout 3 Hints
Arkansas Tip
1 of 7: You can now find Arkansas in the slave pens that are on the south side of the main Paradise Falls area.
2 of 7: He'll be in the Slave House area that's enterable from inside the adult slave pen.
3 of 7: In order to open the slave pen's gate, you'll need a special box key.
4 of 7: Once in the Slave House, talk to Arkansas and offer to remove his slave collar, then choose the Science-related option.
5 of 7: If your Science skill is 50 or higher, you'll successfully remove the collar. You can then talk to Arkansas to get the Temple of the Union marked on the world map.
6 of 7: If your Science skill is under 50, the collar will explode and kill Arkansas. That can be good, though, since he somehow obtained another sniper rifle, and you can now take it and some .308 ammo from his remains.
7 of 7: If you do blow up Arkansas' head, Grouse will grouse at you about it the next time you pass by him, but it's no big deal. You can even get an extra slave collar for free if you pass a Speech Challenge.
