Fallout 3 Hints

Enclave Camp Tips

  • 1 of 7: From now on, there will be Enclave camps scattered all over the wasteland. They're marked on the World Map and its component zone maps so you can see where they all are.
  • 2 of 7: Most camps will feature an Enclave officer, two or so Enclave soldiers, and some lootable Enclave containers near a comm setup and a few barricade walls.
  • 3 of 7: Some few camps won't include any equipment or barricades at all, but will be spots where vertibirds will drop off a few Enclave troops when you're nearby. (Note that if you have a Gatling laser and a high Big Guns skill, you can easily destroy the vertibirds before they can drop anyone off.)
  • 4 of 7: Enclave soldiers always wear either Enclave power armor or Tesla armor, and are usually armed with laser or pulse rifles. Enclave officers have special uniforms that aren't very protective, but they'll have plasma pistols to shoot you with, so they're dangerous, too.
  • 5 of 7: It's best to be wearing some sort of power armor and to have a well-armored follower with you while assaulting Enclave camps, especially if you intend to go around and hit several in a row.
  • 6 of 7: Doing so can get you a lot of useful supplies that you can't get any other way, such as plasma weapons and Tesla armor. You'll want lots of those to repair your own stuff with.
  • 7 of 7: The Enclave personnel at camps you raid will be replaced in about three game days, so keep visiting the camps every now and then for more combat and loot.
