Fallout 3 Hints

Look for Dad in Project Purity's Control Room.

  • 1 of 10: Ask Doctor Li if there's any way she can help you, then pass a Speech Challenge to get some free stimpaks.
  • 2 of 10: After optionally exploring around Rivet City some more and/or doing business with its merchants, leave it via the same bridge you boarded it on.
  • 3 of 10: After you get back down to the ground, start moving west toward the Jefferson Memorial.
  • 4 of 10: Go over to the bottom of the large ramp near it, ready to kill a nearby super mutant.
  • 5 of 10: Go up the ramp and along the large walkway past it, watching for several more super mutants to attack you along the way.
  • 6 of 10: At the other end of the walkway, go down a ramp and look to the left for the small, dark door that leads to the gift shop.
  • 7 of 10: Past that door, move down to the hallway intersection slowly, since a super mutant and a centaur may appear down there. They'll be under fire from a ceiling turret that's in the room to the right, and may not pay much attention to you.
  • 8 of 10: Turn right at the hallway intersection and shoot out the turret if you can't hack the terminal that's on the wall and shut it down.
  • 9 of 10: In the turret's room, check the east side room for supplies, then go through the south doorway to find an area with several more super mutants.
  • 10 of 10: When you're done there, go through the door in the east wall that leads to the rotunda, which is the Project Purity control room.
