Steal-Back Tips
of 5: If you have the patience to use the pickpocketing tip given in the Stealing Tips a lot, you can get unlimited amounts of trade items by trading stuff to Casdin, then pickpocketing it back and trading it to him again.
of 5: This is always possible with items he doesn't equip, such as weapons he has no ammo for. (Use this tip with the alien blaster to maximize your gain.)
of 5: Note, though, that anything you trade in will automatically be repaired to 100% condition. That sounds good, but it'll make the item more valuable, and therefore harder to pickpocket.
of 5: If you have the Paralyzing Palm perk, you can sneakily V.A.T.S.-punch Casdin until he's paralyzed, then easily loot his entire non-equipped inventory before he recovers.
of 5: If you don't do him much damage, and put your fists away right after he's paralyzed, he probably won't stay hostile. You'll want to quicksave first just in case, and put a few stimpaks in his inventory while he's down so he can heal later. (Raiders and wasteland creatures may occasionally wander near the fort, and you don't want Casdin fighting them with low hit points.)
