Deal with the Garza "situation."
1 of 4: After Doctor Li tells you what's wrong with Garza, you have two conversation options that you can use to immediately deal with it.
2 of 4: You can try to pass an easy Speech Challenge to get Doctor Li to leave Garza behind, or you can give her five stimpaks to use on Garza.
3 of 4: If you don't want to spare the stimpaks, and can't pass the Speech Challenge, say that you have nothing.
4 of 4: You can then try to convince Garza via Speech Challenge that he's just slowing you down, or you can just leave everyone there and scout on ahead without resolving the situation.
