Fallout 3 Hints

Connect the department store computer to the Paradise Falls secure network.

  • 1 of 11: Before you say goodbye to Squirrel, say that you're not all that good with computers in order to learn about his alternate plan.
  • 2 of 11: Next, go into Eulogy's pad along the east side of the area and find the terminal that Squirrel mentioned.
  • 3 of 11: It's on the wall near the SE corner of the pad's main ground-floor room. (TIP: Sneakily snatch the Speech bobblehead from the nearby table.)
  • 4 of 11: If your Science skill is high enough, hack into the terminal and use the "Update Network Connections" option. (You can also use the terminal to unlock the nearby safe.)
  • 5 of 11: If you can't hack it, leave the pad and go west across the area to reach the outdoor bar.
  • 6 of 11: Locate the cable junction box on the wall to the right of the bar, then activate it and try to repair it.
  • 7 of 11: If your Repair skill isn't high enough for that, you've only got two options left besides killing off all the slavers.
  • 8 of 11: You can go do other things until your Science or Repair skill is high enough to do one of the above two things, or you can pay big bucks to buy the children.
  • 9 of 11: Go talk to Eulogy Jones in or near his pad and say that you want to buy some slaves.
  • 10 of 11: If you can pass a Speech Challenge, you can get all three kids for 1200 caps. Otherwise, it'll cost 2000.
  • 11 of 11: If you can scrape that much money up, you can pay Eulogy and skip to the "Escort the children out of Paradise Falls" objective.
