Fallout 3 Hints
Find a way to release Rory Maclaren from the box.
1 of 6: To find the box in question, leave the slave pen area and go a short way directly NW.
2 of 6: When you try to open the box, you'll find that you need a special box key.
3 of 6: Once you have a box key, go open the box to find Rory.
4 of 6: Tell him about Penny's stubbornness, and he'll agree to help however he can.
5 of 6: You can either try to sneak him out, in which case he'll probably be seen escaping and get shot down, or you can tell him he's on his own, in which case he'll probably be seen escaping and get shot down. (Yeah, he's pretty much doomed.)
6 of 6: NOTE: Now that you have a box key, you can open the adult slave pen gate and encourage most of the adult slaves to make a break for freedom, though they won't have much more of a chance than Maclaren did. It can be fun to do if you want to cause a bit of penalty-free chaos among the slavers.
