How can I get the auto-destruct initiated?
1 of 5: The easiest way is to have the destruct code.
2 of 5: It's too late to go back and get it now. Hopefully you got it from the footlocker in the bedroom that was near the war room.
3 of 5: If so, you can just choose the dialogue option about knowing the destruct code.
4 of 5: Otherwise, you'll have to have a very high Science skill so you'll get a Science-related dialogue option, or you'll have to pass a tough Speech Challenge.
5 of 5: NOTE: If you can't get Eden to blow up the base, it doesn't really make that much difference. You still can't ever get back in after you leave, and Liberty Prime will be sent to destroy it later on. (You'll hear about this soon after you start working on the Broken Steel add-on game's quests.)
