Fallout 3 Hints
Look at the "You're SPECIAL!" book.
of 9: The book you want is on the floor next to the large open toybox. (Note that you could jump onto the chair next to the toybox and toss some toys around, but that's not useful.)
of 9: When you activate the book and get a close-up of it, click on the arrow at the bottom right corner of the book's cover to open it.
of 9: You can then click on the left and right arrows in the book to flip through the pages.
of 9: The idea here is that you're deciding early in life what you want your seven S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes to be. (Though note that you'll have a chance to change them later on.)
of 9: The easiest way to do this is to flip to the last page, where there's a summary of all seven attributes. Use the + and
of 9: arrows next to each attribute's value to raise or lower it.
of 9: You start out with 5's in each attribute, and have 5 more points to allocate. However, you can decrease each attribute all the way down to 1. You might want to do that with all seven attributes to start with, then decide how to allocate your 33 points.
of 9: Check the game manual to see what all each attribute does, then allocate your points and click on the "All Done!" button at the bottom right of the page.
