Astrology Analysis

  • 1 of 8: The game designers chose four specific symbols and decided what order you should press them to complete the puzzle.  I believe I have determined why.
  • 2 of 8: Although others believe that the signs represent the seasons, Astrology experts tell us that each sign is associated with an element: Fire, Water, Air, or Earth.
  • 3 of 8: Reading up on the subject, I also discovered that they are categorized into 3 separate Modes of Expression: Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable.
  • 4 of 8: The four symbols chosen for this puzzle are all Fixed, so you can rule out all of them except Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.  Each one of these is associated with a different element: Taurus with the Earth -- Leo with Fire -- Scorpio with Water -- Aquarius with Air.
  • 5 of 8: Since the order is important while solving this puzzle, refer to Mephisto's clue, which sends you to a fountain.
  • 6 of 8: Begin with Scorpio (Water) and follow the rest in order of the Zodiac Chart.
