How can I open the envelope?
1 of 10: The wax and ribbons seal the envelope. The object is to open it without damaging the seal or the paper.
2 of 10: Use the proper tool. Something thin and sharp.
3 of 10: Get the proper tool upstairs from the library secretary.
4 of 10: The envelope requires special care, just as any fine piece of clothing.
5 of 10: Did you rummage through the bedroom closets?
6 of 10: The armoire contains a piece of clothing with a "care" tag. Clarify the instructions by using the magnifying glass.
7 of 10: The directions shown at the bottom of the tag are not for a garment. They apply to the envelope!
8 of 10: Use the paper knife (letter opener) in the manner described on the tag.
9 of 10: Try to simulate the way you would open a real envelope. Over and down in one smooth motion.
10 of 10: Insert the tip of the letter opener behind the center of the wax seal; move it horizontally and, without releasing your mouse, drag the knife down to the bottom of the envelope.
