"Turn to your left ... " clue
1 of 8: This clue appears inside the box from the hole in the ground.
2 of 8: It said: "Turn to your left and look up. Learn to read the veins of the rock as the branches of the tree, and find the petrified sap."
3 of 8: Just follow the directions.
4 of 8: Turn to your left so you are facing the large rock wall beyond the wooden walkway, but don't go there yet.
5 of 8: Look into the branches of the trees above until you see the "examine" cursor.
6 of 8: Zooming in, you can see a bracket that can be actioned.
7 of 8: Use the monocular on the bracket, and then look into it.
8 of 8: Walk forward (still looking through the eye glass) and pick up the petrified sap, a red-ended handle, and your next clue.
